Syngonium plants are characterized by their arrow-shaped leaves that start out as small and heart-shaped, then develop into larger, more distinct arrowhead shapes as they mature.
The leaves come in various shades of green, often with striking patterns of white, cream, pink, or red. This plant thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions.
It prefers well-draining soil and should be watered when the top inch of soil feels dry. Syngonium plants enjoy moderate to high humidity and are best kept at temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C).
Regular pruning helps maintain a compact, bushy appearance. Arrowhead plants are versatile and can be grown as trailing vines or in pots as compact, bushy plants.
